Today is the fifth of July, which means that yesterday, millions of idiots blew up stuff and waived flags to celebrate the independence of our country from Great Britain. Those crazy brits were so oppressive, they taxed our tea, sugar, and stamps, without giving us representation in congress. Whats even worse, is that their soldiers actually fired into a mob when the mob started throwing rocks at the soldiers. Of course we had to start a revolutionary war! WE were oppressed, and ruled by a tyrant, and his parliament 3000 miles away. They put taxes on us, against our consent to fund their empire that stretched to the reaches of the world. If anything like this happened today there would certainly be a revolution, there is no way in heck that Americans would allow such atrocities to occur.
Or is there a way on earth let alone heck? Could it be possible that the same things are going on today, only on a much larger, and much more subversive scale than yesteryear? I don't know lets take a look at it.
Early Americans were forced to pay taxes on tea and sugar and stamps. Our President (ahem king) and congress currently taxes us on a lot more than those three things. WE even get taxed on the money we make. not just on the products we buy, but on the labor we do. We are taught (and our parents were taught) from the first time we ever got a job that the government has a right to take a share of the money an individual earns by his or her own labor. WE are taught that it is our duty as good citizens to pay our taxes so uncle Sam can buy us roads and schools, and all the other services like defense (ahem offense) that we get from our government. It's too bad that what we've been taught is complete bullsh**. I don't have time to sufficiently defend my claim of shenanigans on taxes right now, but I would highly recommend the film Freedom to fascism by Aaron Russo, it streams for free on youtube, check it out. The basics of my claim is on the fact that our tax money is really going to pay back interest on the national debt. Ever wonder who are nation is in debt to? It is a group of privately owned banks called the federal reserve. Those f'ers are the ones who make our money. In fact they make it out of thin air, then loan it to the government at whatever interest rate they want, so in other words they completely have our government by the balls. If it doesn't make sence or you don't beleive me, do some research and figure it out for yourself.
When it comes to a lack of proper representation, let me just remind you all of the 2000 election when the giant douche stole the election from the turd sandwich who won the election fair and square. ( I referenced the 2000 election in front of a group of kids 10-12 years old and they had no idea what I meant. I guess our schools are failing.)
When it comes to shooting bullets into a mob of protesters, that happens all the time whether it be in the continental united states, or it be in the new American colony of iraq.
I live in California, which will soon be under water, and i live about 3000 miles away from Georges palace, I am taxed unfairly for the sake of funding an empire, I was lied to about a war, and have been lied to about history. I guess thats good enough for a revolution now, if it was good enough in 76. IT seems I am in the minority with these opinions. Maybe if there was an ocean between us and washington, I could organize a revolution, or at least get some important people to sign a declaration of independence. If you think about it, California compares to washington and the monkeys running things over there in almost the exact same way that boston related to london in 76 other than the fact that there is no ocean between us. California is an American colony in mexico taken by an unjust war, the same way boston was a colony taken from native americans by england. Washington is run by a dick and a bush while England was run by a few richards (dicks) with "royal blood".
So if you can't tell yet I am officially stepping down from my role as patriot. I'm done. Am I an American? I guess, I was born here, but I am very disapointed in my country. I love my patriot friends but I honestly believe that you have to be misinformed to be a patriot in America today. We should be marching in the streets. Our country was founded on sticking it to the man, we became the man, and now were too busy partying to stick it to ourselves. IN the words of Lord Acton, "Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. In the words of Maynard James Keenan, "Ive got some advice for you little buddy before you point your finger you should know that IM the man. If IM the man then he's the man and your the man as well so you can point that f'in finger up y0ur @$$." Once again Maynard transcends normalness to put us all where we belong. I recommend we all study a little history before we light more fireworks.
